what is the main different between lining black and tribal black? or tripple black?

Ones for lining and is thinner and more matte... Triple black is darker than lining and is deeper black like glossy black in paints... Also thicker and messier... In my realism I use both triple blacks for darkest deepest black areas, lining for black areas, darkest GREYWASh, etc...hope that makes sense ... Triple blacks for tribal too

Agreed

When you have lining black the ink is thinner , and it is easier to work with (i find) ....I personally use Kirosumi ink to line and then dillute into greywash.....but if you try it with triple black...it will not work.....the triple black is only for those deep black areas....is too thick to line with and have a place in the dynmaics of the piece as being the darkest parts..
