Hey everyone hope all is well, dropped my coil tattoo machine a little while ago and broke off the little plastic screw on the front binding post that hold tension on the contact screw. broke off flush and cant seem to get it out. it still seemed to work fine. the contact screw now seems a little looser and i cant tighten it cause i cant get this broken screw out to replace it. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated maybe someone has encountered this before?
Hi there, What I have done before when this happens is:
1. Grab a small flat screw driver or front spring and heat it up with a lighter
2. Use it like a screw driver while it's hot, it will melt the broken part inside the biding post giving it the form of the screw or front spring
3.Unscrew the broken piece
